The best standard method to improve the accessibility of websites and applications is following the guidelines called Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) produces these guidelines for web developers and accessibility providers on how to make websites accessible for all.

Absolutely not. Accessible web designs will make your website look cleaner, which makes it easier for every user to navigate, especially people with disabilities. Ease of use is central to good design, so in that sense, web accessibility actually improves web design.

There are no forbidden colors in accessible design - what matters is enough contrast between text and its background. Under WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, regular text needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, while large text, interface components and meaningful graphics need at least 3:1. Never convey information by color alone - add text, icons or patterns as well. Also check your palette for color blindness, especially red-green combinations, so every user can tell the elements apart.

Accessible design goes beyond helping people who are blind and visually impaired. For example, including user controls in image carousels helps ensure the carousel animation doesn’t negatively impact concentration for users with cognitive or neurological impairments. Another example is maintaining a logical hierarchy of headlines and font sizes down the page, which also supports users with cognitive impairments.

The best way is to keep inclusivity in your mind while developing or designing a website or an application. There are various tools and software that help you a lot with this. A tool like this helps you improve the accessibility, readability and reach of your digital content.

There are many, but an example might be including user controls in image carousels, which helps ensure the carousel animation doesn’t negatively impact concentration for users with cognitive or neurological impairments. There are many reasons that clearly explain why websites and apps should be accessible to people with disabilities.
1) The accessibility of the Internet or the app among the same population allows government websites and mobile apps to reach more citizens. Websites and apps allow the same institution to reach more online customers as well and, of course, maintain direct contact with them.
2) Everyone has the responsibility to adapt and provide their services to people with disabilities. This issue is especially important for business websites and apps because they allow people with disabilities to connect with their environment, purchase services and products all the way home and thus live a more normal life.
3) When you make a process of accessing websites and making accessibility adjustments to your website, you also enjoy the process of optimizing your website for the search engines. Proper search engine optimization will allow your site to be indexed better and give you a great organic advantage over your competitors who have not been made the site accessible at all.
4) During the process of building accessible websites, there is a need to use appropriate coding techniques that give websites and applications an advantage to maintain them. An accessible website is a more stable, high-quality and well-maintained website!

When applying for a company license, many organizations must complete a comprehensive website accessibility process in compliance with the requirements. Making sure that the physical location of the business is accessible to people with disabilities is an important component of receiving a business license.
Apart from the physical issue, an accessibility license checks if the business has a website and, if so, whether it conforms with the accessibility laws when asking for a business license from the authorities.
